Molly focuses her practice on Women & Children's Health including pregnancy and menopause. 

PREGNANCY

Chiropractic care is essential for the dramatic changes abounding in the pregnant mother. The body is inundated with stressors and changes from a growing baby requiring continuous adaptation of the mother's structural frame.

Chiropractic pays specific attention to the enhancement of both the woman's nervous system and musculoskeletal system, thus lessening the pain and discomfort often associated with pregnancy and labor. Chiropractic utilizes

 techniques specific to the pregnant woman to address the increases in pelvic strain which subsequently encourages the baby to assume a normal, headown (vertex) position.

Since the Surgeon General predicted that children born today are the first generation of children who will not outlive their parents, California Wellness Center’s goal has become to help babies and children grow into strong thriving adults. Chiropractors are the number one alternative health care provider of children and should be a crucial part of every child’s health care regime.

As a result of their rapidly growing musculoskeletal and nervous systems, spinal motion becomes an essential nutrient for life. Many studies show chiropractic therapies and nutritional intervention to be effective treatment for plaguing issues such as colic, ear infections, ADHD/ADD, scoliosis, allergies and asthma. We are specifically trained in adjustments of the pediatric spine and extremities taught through the prestigious ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

Dr. Rex Stevens opened his practice in SLO specializing in athletic performance, injury recovery, and balance of the human frame in 2005. His unique approach to maximizing human potential has athletes from all sports talking. Dr. Rex’s comprehensive approach, positive attitude, and belief in the athletic human frame continues to breed success in both expediating injury recovery and enhancing athletic results.  Athletes of all ages and all sports welcome!
